2 John 1:12
I have much to write to you, but I do not want to use paper and ink. Instead, I hope to visit you and talk with you face to face, so that our joy may be complete.

Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Mon, Oct. 12, PAPER AND INK (II Jn. 1:12). In the old days, paper and ink are very important in communication. They were very advanced methods actually compare to the method in the ages before. In the ages before, the people used stones. Stones to write and to be written. Stones as pens and papers. Nowadays, we are so blessed by a way more advaced method, internet. Imagine the place can be reached, the speed, the time and so forth. Really advanced. Ironically, people are getting further and further from each other, especially to the loved ones. Husbands are separated from wives. Children are separated from parents. We have way better method of communication, but most of the relationship are still not deeper. How to make relationship deeper?
a. The command of Christ.
We do everything based on his will and command. If we obey him, then we would have deeper relationship.

b. The teaching of Christ.
We always share, talk and discuss the teaching that Christ teaches. We won’t be no ideas. New ideas always abundant in the teaching of Christ.

c. The love of Christ.
We have to love as Christ loves, unconditional love.

Let’s have deeper relationship one another. (ASH)
