Psalms 136:15
but swept Pharaoh and his army into the Red Sea.
Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Wed, June 15, PHARAOH (Ps. 136:15). Who doesn’t know Pharaoh? He was so very famous. Not only at the time he lived, but even after he died. Imagine, in the time of David, his name was still mentioned. People in the time of David also knew his name. What was reminded about him to the people?
1. His stupidity.
He was considered smart. But, he didn’t know who he was messing with. He dared to mess with the people of God. He didn’t want to stop giving them troubles.
2. His stubborness.
He dared to chase the people, when the people wanted to go to Canaan. Even, when he saw that the people had passed the red sea, he still.chased them with full force.
3. His sins.
He dared to challenge God. He knew that this is the people of God, but he still dared to inhibit them to worship God. He used many tricks and games to hold the people as their slaves. He didn’t want to let lose them. ASH.
