Exodus 10:27
But the Lord hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he was not willing to let them go.

Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Tue, Dec. 8, PHARAOH (Ex. 10:27). Pharaoh was the king of a superpower country at that time, Egypt. He had the wealth, power, position, authority, people and troop. He was so feared by other countries. His words were undebateable. He was the law. But in the hands of God, he was nothing. He could not resist, argue or even bargain the will of God. He just obeyed. Not a single word spoken to God. God has not only the power to create, but also to control. To control and to make everything happens exactly just the way he wants.
a. God can control the plagues, natural powers and animals.
It struck just in time. Not too soon, not too late. It happened on the right time, the right place and on the right force. It would go at the right time too.

b. God can control the casualties.
How many people would die? How big was the area influenced by the plague? How many livestocks, cattles, trees and everything which were struck by the plague? Everything was in control.

c. God can control the outcome.
God wanted the people to fear God. To know God deeply as the super power God. To love him dearly. So, let’s love and obey him. Not by force, but because we love him. ASH.
