Psalms 54:5
Let evil recoil on those who slander me; in your faithfulness destroy them.

Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Fri, Mar. 25, RECOIL (Ps. 54:5). This is very funny, but amazing, the story of a believer. Many times, there are things which is very hillarious happen in the life of a believer.
1. Blessing pursues us.
We don’t have to chase blessings. Many times, we chase blessings in such a way until we forget or marginalize everything. We consider everything is not important. Even God. We forget that blessings actually are chasing us. Even, they were sent by us when we are sleeping.

2. Mercy comes to us.
We don’t chase mercy. Even, when we want to chase, we can’t get it. It is something beyond our ability. We are powerless if we want to chase the blessings or mercy. It is also not the character of mercy. Mercy is not meant to be chased, but it is given to the chosen people.

3. Evil recoils from us.
We also don’t have to exorcise evil. God could make evil recoils from us. We know that God protects us. God’s protection is perfect. Nothing can cross his protection. So, always close to God is much better than chasing everything vain. Like chasing the wind. ASH.
