Esther 6:8
have them bring a royal robe the king has worn and a horse the king has ridden, one with a royal crest placed on its head.

Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Wed, Dec. 15, ROYAL (Est. 6:8). The highest honor had given to Mordechai, a foreigner and a layman. A despised and marginalized person.
1. Royal robe.
The robe that used to be used by the king, was put on Mordechai. Haman himself never used that robe. He was asked to put on the robe and shout in front of the horse to honor Mordechai by walking.

2. Royal horse
He had to accompany Mordechai going around the city, while Mordechai rode on the royal horse.

3. Royal crest.
Mordechai also used the royal crest in which usually given to a winner in a championship. God can honor a simple man that high. ASH.
