Job 8:5
But if you will seek God earnestly and plead with the Almighty.
Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Mon, Dec. 27, SEEK (Job 8:5). Very difficult to change the mind of man. What has been embedded, would be embedded forever. From time to time, people think that this is right and become the formula.
1. Human participation.
Man can participate in the process of salvation, get blessing and prosperity. Man should not sit and do nothing. Man has to do something, that is seeking God. He has to come to God and open his heart.
2. Human potential.
Man has the ability and strength to do something. Man can do that without God’s help. Man can seek God, open his heart and so forth by his own.
3. Human position.
He believes that he deserve, worthy to do it. He believes that God would receive his merit. He believes that God would honor his doings. Although, actually everything is not like that. No human participation. No human potential. No human position. All is by grace. ASH.
