Luke 19:10
For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”
Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Sun, Aug. 30, SEEK (Lk. 19:10). Seek means hard effort. Jesus did everything to seek the lost. He left heaven, being a man, came to the city where Zaccheus lived, talked to him and spent time with him. We don’t know how much the cost that Jesus paid to seek the lost. We can’t fathom how great really is the price of our soul. Jesus did everything to save us. Nothing is too expensive to save 1 sinner. It’s very true a statement says, “Save the lost no matter the cost.” The question is after that. After the man is saved, whether he wants to do the same? Do we want to pay the cost to save the lost? Do we care for their salvation as serious as Jesus did? Let’s seek the lost, no matter the cost. (ASH)
