Revelation 14:17
Another angel came out of the temple in heaven, and he too had a sharp sickle.
Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Fri, Oct. 16, SHARP SICKLE (Rev. 14:17). There is some kind of weapons in heaven. The weapon is not very advanced compared to the weapons today. Well, it is not really considered as weapon. It is a tool like in the farmers hands. The weapon or tool is not for fighting or anything else. It is used only for harvesting. The weapon is:
a. Always sharp.
It doesn’t need to be sharpened. It stays sharp. Although, it is used only 1 time later at the end of time.
b. Always strong.
It won’t break or broken. It is only 1. It is enough to complete and finish the harvesting.
c. Always successful.
It won’t fail to do the tasks. It doesn’t need to be replaced by another sickle or anything else.
It is there, ready for harvesting our good deeds. Are we ready to be harvested? Are we ready to face judgement? Are we ready to give the accountability before God? (ASH)
