Romans 14:13
Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister.

Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Wed, Sept. 16, STUMBLING BLOCK (Rm. 14:13). Stumbling block is a big hard rock, which is so heavy, so that it’s not easily be moved. It causes other people can’t press forward. It causes big problems for other people. What is the stumbling block? The pride, the ego, the self centeredness in our life. We can not move it ourselves. It is so heavy. We love it to be in our heart. We don’t want and can’t move it away. We don’t realize that it is the ultimate reason for other people, especially, the new believers to fall in sin. Apostle Paul reminds us that by the power of God, we have to throw it away from our heart. We have to be humble. We have to be ready to lose. Ready to carry our cross and deny ourselves. Ready to suffer for the benefit of others. Ready to sacrifice for the glory of God. Are we ready? (ASH)
