Psalms 47:3
He subdued nations under us, peoples under our feet.
Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Fri, Mar. 18, SUBDUED (Ps. 47:3). God holds all the control and power, from eternity to eternity. He controls everything according to his will. Everything for our good and his delight. Nothing to harm and jeopardize human being.
1. He subdued nations.
He destroyed or magnified nations according to his will. He made some nations great, only to bless the children of God. But he also can use them to train the children of God to obey his will.
2. He subdued animals.
He made animals as the food, helpers, materials for human needs or even for human entertainment. Animals are completely under us. Animals are free to be used and determined for something.
3. He subdued wives.
He made and commanded women to honor men, wives to respect their husbands. He didn’t want 2 heads in 1 house. He organized and managed the family structure like that. ASH.
