Job 4:3 Think how you have instructed many, how you have strengthened feeble hands.
Job 4:4 Your words have supported those who stumbled; you have strengthened faltering knees.
Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Thu, Dec. 23, SUPPORTED (Job 4:3-4). Job was not only wealthy, but he was also used by God in the ministry. His ministry was the ministry of comfort. One of those whom had experienced his strengthening words was Eliphaz. So, strengthening words contain:
1. Attention.
Job was very attentive to his friends. He gave his ears to his friends.
2. Passion.
He didn’t only focus on his job, carrier and family. He also gave time for his friends. He also hung with his friends out.
3. Domination.
He gave good influence to his friends. He strengthened them with words of God. He didn’t give bad effect to his friends. On the other hand, he supported them to be more faithful to God. Have we be good friends? ASH.
