Lamentations 3:16
He has broken my teeth with gravel; he has trampled me in the dust

Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Mon, July 13, TEETH (Jer. 3:16). This may be the cost of ministry, broken teeth. Jer was not only ridiculed, insulted, refused by the people orally. He was also persecuted physically. He was beaten by them up till the teeth broken. He was also trampled down mercilessly. How dire the picture is? Are we ready to experience things like that? Shall we be quiet and motionless like Jer when he was beaten and trampled? He didn’t fight back, run, hate the people. He kept serving them faithfully and sincerely. Are we ready to carry our cross like him if needed?
