Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Wed, Sept. 1, THEN (II Kg. 14:4, 8, 21, 22). We are easily forget that we have to.consult or confer our plans, steps anf actions to God. We often walk alone. We often do everything without letting God intervene our life. We can see here the people also did the same things.
1. In worshipping.
Many times, God and history had proven that worshipping other gods were the reasons of the downfalls, problems and omens. But the people still do it.

2. In fighting.
Here, we can see that there were fightings between brothers. They forgot that they suppose to love and support each other. Ego and sin made them kill each other.

3. In making kings.
The people easily made a person king. They forgot that a king didn’t always have to come from the king’s children. David was not the children of Saul. He didn’t come from the king’s family.

4. In rebuilding things.
They built many buildings. They forgot to ask God whether they could build this or that. Therefore, let’s always adjust everything with God. ASH.
