Psalms 29:5
The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars; the LORD breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.
Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Mon, Feb. 28, VOICE (Ps. 29:5). God exists. God lives. God speaks. God works. His speech is authoritative. His words never come back in vain. When he speaks, it comes to reality.
1. Everything listens.
Every creature whom has ears or not, listens. Ears are not always complete and good as men. Whether they have ears like men or not. Everything hears. Nothing not listening.
2. Everything understands.
Nothing misunderstood. Everything understands completely. God speaks universal language. He speaks and nothing needs translation or interpretation. Everything listens in its own language. The language of people, animals, even trees. Here, we can see that trees responds to the voice of God.
3. Everything obeys.
The voice of God is so authoritative. It is powerful. It has forcing effect. It coerces the listeners not to disobey. It makes the hearers obey. No other choices given to the listener. ASH.
