Psalms 131:2
But I have calmed and quieted myself, I am like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child I am content.

Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Fri, June 10, WEANED (Ps. 131:2). How happy to have a mother? How pleasant if we are in her bossom? 1 mother is enough. More than enough. She will take care of everything. We are her babies. In her eyes, we never grow. We would be her babies forever. She would “wean” us. Weaning means:
1. Support.
Babies in their mother’s bossom must be supported by the arms of the mothers. The arms hold them. The arms support them. The arms make them strong, able to do what they are suppose to do. We would be higher, as high as her chest. Otherwise, we would die.

2. Feed.
We are weaned meaning, we are fed. We are given the food for our life. We pay nothing. We do nothing. Everything are served and given. They never calculate the cost. They never add and wait for the time for us to pay.

3. Protect.
Weaning means protection. When we are weaned, nobody and nothing can harm us without passing her first. Her arms would keep us save. We can have peace. We can be sleeping. We don’t care of everything outside. ASH.
