Exodus 4:25
But Zipporah took a flint knife, cut off her son’s foreskin and touched Moses’ feet with it. “Surely you are a bridegroom of blood to me,” she said.

Shalom.sdr, my devotion today, Wed Dec 2, ZIPPORAH (Ex. 4:25). Zipporah was Moses’ wife. I was wondered, how could she know many things? How could she know that it was God whom came to the lodge? How could she know that God wanted to kill Moses? How could she know that she had to cut the foreskin of his son? How could she know that she had to touch Moses’ feet with the foreskin? How could she knew what to speak to Moses as the bridegroom of blood?
a. She was a Midianite’s priest daughter.
She was never told and taught about circumcision by his father or families. She was not an Israelite. She had never seen the process of circumcision. She was never did the circumcision.

b. She was a shepherd.
A sheperd, usually, had no high education. She didn’t study history, religion comparison, etc., to make her know about circumcision.

c. She was a woman.
She was just a simple woman. How could she stop the plan of God to kill Moses? But God shew mercy on her and Moses. If not, he would carry througj his plan. The point is, just do the best that we can do. God will honor our best. ASH.
